This update fixes an issue causing PC Doctor to incorrectly identify a DVD-ROM drive as a DVD+RW drive.

How To Use:

WARNING: While installing this update, do not power-off, suspend, or hibernate the PC. Close all applications prior to starting the update.

1. Close all applications and remove any discs from all optical drives (CD or DVD).

2. Download the firmware update.

3. Double-click the icon for update file downloaded in step 1.

4. After the update verifies that the correct DVD drive is present, click YES to continue.

5. Make sure that the target drive is shown as XJ-HD166S in the drop-down menu, and then click UPDATE.

6. When the update is complete, click OK.

7. Click CLOSE to exit.

8. Restart the PC
